MARINE DEBRIS RESIN JEWELLERY - Deanne Howlett

from A$55.00

Resin Jewellery with marine debris.

Deanne: “ For many years I have been undertaking regular beach clean ups along the shores of the Gippsland Lakes and the Ninety Mile Beach, collecting and disposing of the marine debris that I find. Highlighting our need to be marine debris aware, my Marine Debris range incorporates some plastic findings. My original designs are hand- formed using sculpting clay from which I create the moulds. I then make casts using resin, incorporating marine debris during the casting process. In support of our local marine life, 5% of retails sales of my Marine Debris resin Jewellery collection is donated to the Marine Mammal Foundation, an organisation that protects the marine environment through research, community engagement and education.
