EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Foundry welcomes expressions of interest from a range of creative individuals and collectives to exhibit in our hallway exhibition space! Our little hallway gallery is a fantastic space for artists at all stages of their journeys to explore new and developing ideas.
Artists of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ artists, Deaf and disabled artists and people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent are strongly encouraged to apply.
The juicy details:
Artists will have their exhibition on display for an 8 week period and will have a public opening event on the first Friday of the exhibition opening
Gallery specs: feature wall is 5m long x 3m high
The cost to exhibit in our space is between $110 (just the hallway space) - $150 (hallway, shelves and shop wall and a shop stock reshuffle fee). Dependent on your availability to assist with exhibition install - if you are unavailable then a $200 fee may be applicable
Artist In Residence - 10% commission is applicable on artworks sold - Artist In Residence (AIR) (shop sitting 1 day per week)
Non Artist In Residence - 30% commission is applicable on artworks sold (no shop-sitting necessary)
